Extraordinary times – more info

Monday 23 March 2020

Our doors are closed but we are still available
on free toll 1800 105 303
during business hours.

This message is for all of the amazing women around the state who come to our workshops, visit our lawyers in Abbotsford or in regional offices, and who attend the Koori Women’s Place in Melbourne.

Workshops

To protect the health and safety of everyone who attends our workshops (Sisters Day Out, Dilly Bag, Young Luv and in the Koori Women’s Place), including our staff, we are postponing the delivery of all workshops until the 31st of May.
As soon as we are able, we’ll be catching up with all of you again around the state and in Melbourne.

Legal Services

We will continue to offer our legal service by phone and provide representation in court matters. Please be aware that we have limited capacity to accept new clients at this time but where we are unable to assist a referral will be offered.

Koori Womens’ Place

The Koori Women’s Place will also maintain contact with women by phone, email and text message.

We won’t have the doors open but
you can ring us on 1800 105 303
during business hours, and one of the team will get right back to you.

We will keep you updated as things change so keep an eye on this space.
The safety, health and well-being of our women and community
is at the forefront of our minds.

During this time, if you need support:
Urgent support, call Safe Steps Family Violence on toll free 1800 015 188.
If you have any concerns for your safety during this time we encourage you to call the police by dialling 000.
