Diabetes Yarning x Lovett & Co

Come along for a yarn with Wendy-Anne (Palawa) and Charlotte from Diabetes Victoria. We’ll yarn about the connections between food, culture and movement, learn how diabetes affects our bodies, and share simple ways to reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, prevent complications and how to live well with diabetes.

We’ll also talk about the support available through Diabetes Victoria and the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS). There’ll be plenty of opportunities to yarn, ask questions, share experiences and learn together in a relaxed and supportive space, PLUS, we’ll also be joined by Aunty Di Attard-Lovett (Gundjiimara) from Lovett and Co. for some delicious lemon myrtle scone making!

To avoid missing out, please make sure to register by emailing the Koori Women’s Place on kwp@djirra.org.au or calling 9244 3333
