Body Balms with Wild Blak Arts

Join proud Djaara (Dja Dja Wurrung) woman Cassie Fisher Patterson, artist, master weaver, bushtukka woman and cultural educator, for an online natural body balm workshop.

Cassie will guide you through the simple process of creating your own medicinal body balm using native emu fat, beeswax and native plant oils. Learn how native scents and plants can be used to nourish the skin, cleanse, awaken and support wellbeing of body, mind and spirit.

All materials will be sent directly to you, ready to create your balm at home in a reusable container.

KWP workshops are free and open to all Aboriginal women. Places are limited, please register by contacting our Koori Women’s Place team on 9244 3333 or kwp@djirra.org.au.
