Join master weaver Aunty Marilyne Nicholls for a workshop, using feather craft to create a wearable item. There will be two sessions, one working with emu feathers and the other working with colored feathers.
Aunty Marilyn is a member of the Dja Dja Wurrung and a descendant of the Freshwater Murray River Peoples and Saltwater Peoples of the Coorong coast in South Australia. Aunty Marilyne’s knowledge of feather making stems from her background as an artist and her rich knowledge of the natural environment and its resources.
