Something Sweet with Mabu Mabu – Wednesday 21 September – Abbotsford

Mabu Mabu is a saying in the Torres Strait that means ‘help yourself’ or ‘bon appetite.’ It is announced at the start of a banquet or at a gathering of friends and family.
In this class, we will get a full native ingredient lesson showcasing seasonal fruits and spices. Depending on
availability, this may include Kakadu Plums, Munties and green ants edible sea succulents and plants.

Together, we will make Wattleseed scones with jam and strawberry gum cream. To finish we will watch Nornie make a strawberry gum honeycomb with macadamia coated chocolate.
