Aunty Marilyn is a member of the Dja Dja Wurrung and a descendant of the Freshwater Murray River Peoples and Saltwater Peoples of the Coorong coast in South Australia.
This beading workshop includes:
- Making earrings, necklace, bracelet and the use of specific beads eg healing beads – tigers eye, quartz, etc.
- Using glass beads and clay beads.
Come along for some creative arts, have a yarn and meet other Aboriginal women, and enjoy the relaxing space in the Koori Women’s Place.
All materials and lunch provided.
