Gut Health with Wattleseed Nutrition – ONLINE – Monday 28 February

Tracy is a Gamilaroi woman, Dietitian/Nutritionist, Beauty Therapist and founder of Wattleseed Nutrition, Health and Wellbeing. Wattleseed Nutrition is a 100% Aboriginal owned business based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
Tracy takes a personalised, holistic and culturally centred approach to foods, food systems and environments, meal patterns, eating habits, health and wellbeing.
Are you familiar with the gut microbiome? Are you familiar with the terms “probiotics” and “prebiotics”? Growing research suggests that the gut microbiome plays a significant role in our physical and mental health, as
well as disease. Join us for an 1.5 hour-long workshop in which Tracy share all things gut health and guide you in preparing gut-friendly foods. You can expect to leave class with a happy gut and recipes and tips to improve your
gut health! This workshop offers practical dietary and lifestyle tips to nourish and support your gut microbiome, supporting good health, wellbeing and productivity.
Workshop materials will include:
• Recipe Cards, Native Ingredients and mainstream herbs/spices required
for pickled veggie and sauerkraut recipes
Participants will need to buy the fresh produce required for recipes

Registration is a must as we’ll be sending out a Zoom meeting ID prior to the workshop date. To register, call us on 9244 3333 and ask for Torie or email kwp@djirra.org.au
