Amanda is a proud Yuin woman, a artist, healer and runs a small business called Wax Treasures Feathers. Yuin people have always used feathers, echidna quills, and other animal products in traditional clothing or jewellery. Yuin mob believe in the healing properties of rocks and stones, which is where Amanda believes her passion for feathers, plants, crystals, and fossils originates from. Most of her jewellery and artistic pieces are inspired by her ancestors and people.
This workshop will include everything you need to create your own “Emu Dreaming” necklace, each participant will receive their own individual pack which includes: emu feathers, handmade clay beads, jewellery findings, kangaroo leather necklace, threading needle, beeswax & cotton thread.
