Come and express your creativity in our first face to face workshop with the eggcellent Amanda from Wax Treasures Feathers. Amanda is a proud Yuin woman, artist, healer, and small business owner.
Held over two weeks, these workshops will include everything you need to carve your own emu egg.
Carving continues today with dozens of artists depicting important animals, people, traditions, and scenes from the past and present. For Aboriginal people, they also reinforce connections to other animals, and especially the emu, as well as to the land.
All participants registering for face to face workshops must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and show evidence on arrival to Djirra.
Places are limited, please register by contacting our Koori Women’s Place team on 9244 3333 or kwp@djirra.org.au
