Kiewa Austin-Rioli is a proud Gunditjmara and Tiwi artist from Naarm with strong connections to her Victorian and Tiwi Aboriginal communities.
In 2019, she founded Sweet Water Art, named after the Aboriginal meaning of her name, “sweet water,” and creates both traditional and contemporary artworks that celebrate culture, story, and connection to Country. Alongside her art practice, Kiewa facilitates both cultural education and art workshops, creating meaningful opportunities for people to connect with Aboriginal culture, creativity, community, and Country.
