DESCRIPTION:Join proud Djaara (Dja Dja Wurrung) woman Cassie Fisher Patterson, artist, master weaver, bushtukka woman and cultural educator, for a hands-on workshop exploring native plants, traditional knowledge and wellbeing.\nLearn about edible native plants and how they can be grown, harvested and used in everyday cooking, medicinal balms and traditional practices. Participants will get hands-on making their own native plant balm using emu fat, ochre and native plant infusions, as well as a native spice mix and native truffle to take home.\nCome along to learn, create, yarn and deepen your knowledge of Bushtukka and the many uses of native plants.\nKWP workshops are free and open to all Aboriginal women.
